Tony studied Design in UK as well as Architecture and Advertising in the USA.
He has 30-year experience in advertising and had assumed the posts of Executive Creative Director in
several international
networks such as Grey China、BBDO Greater China & Ogilvy Shanghai. In 2003, Tony founded aeiou, the pioneer of
boutique
creative agencies in China. In no time, aeiou rose to become the hottest name in China’s advertising
industry.
2013, aeiou was acquired by the world’s biggest independent integrated advertising agency network M&C SAATCHI
to
form M&C SAATCHI aeiou, to be responsible for all its business in the Greater China area.
Tony is one of the 25 creative people to receive the Creative Achievement Award for Asia Pacific
Region from the
New York Festival.
His design work is collected by the Museum of Modern Art in The United States, and his advertising
works had won
many international advertising awards.
Tony's work is published by Thames&Hudson London and New York in "CREATIVE ADVERTISING - IDEAS AND
TECHNIQUES
FROM THE WORLD'S BEST CAMPAIGNS”.
Tony has also served as judge in many international & domestic advertising festivals, He is also
Visiting Professor
at Nanjing University and Master Tutor at Zhejiang University.
Born in North China, Michael came to Shanghai in 1993 to pursue his Master’s Degree in Chemical
Engineering at East
China University of Science and Technology. While still in college, he was drafted by Unilever China to join
them.
He respectively worked there as their NEA/SEAA Regional Sourcing Manager, Senior Brand Manager and Marketing
Manager.
He has 24 years of marketing experience, which includes being appointed as the marketing consultant
for Tetrapak
Client Services and invited by local conglomerates such as New Hope and White Cat as their retainer Brand
Consultant.
In 2003, he worked for Lowe (Beijing) as General Manager.
As an acknowledged planner, he successfully combined his international expertise with local market
insights. He
has multi-category management experience (brand, supply chain and trade) and had helped many clients
developed
their marketing strategies, innovation plans, CRM platforms, brand positionings and communication strategies
etc.
He is an respected trainer in advanced marketing management and had provided courses to many international
and
local companies with remarkable results.
